Family "Fun" Raising!

After 13 days in Maine, we arrived home on Saturday night.

We had an exhausting, exhilarating, emotional, exciting, excellent adventure!

Before we even left Maine, our grandsons decided that they wanted to

have a Lemonade Stand to raise funds for I Care I Cure when we 

returned to Georgia so the planning began and we put all of the

plans into action today...with TWO Lemonade Stands!

We started at 10:30 this morning at Glenn's office with our first

Lemonade Stand.  Benji, Evan, Miles and Fletcher charmed the

staff and patients with their salesmanship and pouring skills!

We're all set and ready to serve up Lemonade, Iced Tea and Cookies!

Benji was the lead salesman and explained to our customers what we
were doing and why I Care I Cure is so important to our family.

After 4 1/2 hours of serving and explaining I Care I Cure,
Benji and Evan took a technology break!

We left the office at 1:40 and had plenty of lemonade, iced tea 

and cookies left so we invited friends and neighbors in our

condo building to stop by from 4-6 for the Benji and Evan

It's all about the presentation!

A little lemonade stand turned into two events today and a very

impressive "FUN" raising total of $500.00.

Thanks to Benji for the idea and to Evan, Miles, Fletcher and

Sara for helping to make it happen today!

A big thanks to all of the wonderful people who were so

sweet, patient and generous while visiting our Lemonade

Stands....some even just made a donation without taking 

a drink or a cookie.   They just wanted to help support the cause!

It's not too late to donate!

We are slowly edging toward our goal of $10,000 for this 

last segment of the ride.   I'll check on our total next week and 

do one more post to let you know how we are doing.
