Family "Fun" Raising!

After 13 days in Maine, we arrived home on Saturday night.
We had an exhausting, exhilarating, emotional, exciting, excellent adventure!

Before we even left Maine, our grandsons decided that they wanted to
have a Lemonade Stand to raise funds for I Care I Cure when we
returned to Georgia so the planning began and we put all of the
plans into action today...with TWO Lemonade Stands!

We started at 10:30 this morning at Glenn's office with our first
Lemonade Stand.  Benji, Evan, Miles and Fletcher charmed the
staff and patients with their salesmanship and pouring skills!

We're all set and ready to serve up Lemonade, Iced Tea and Cookies!

Benji, Evan and Miles getting ready for the crowd to arrive!

Benji was the lead salesman and explained to our customers what we
were doing and why I Care I Cure is so important to our family.

Benji and Fletcher take a break from the action

Sara, Evan and Miles say " Lemonade Stand" to smile for the camera.

Evan and Miles taste testing the cookies.....
They approve!

Pouring the drinks for the customers was fun for all.
Miles caught on quickly!

Evan took charge of the Iced Tea pouring here

Now a taste test of the lemonade by Evan :)

Miles makes sure that the lemonade is good enough to serve!

Pa, with Fletcher, takes a break from
work to watch the boys in action!

After 4 1/2 hours of serving and explaining I Care I Cure,
Benji and Evan took a technology break!

Benji serves some friendly customers :)

We left the office at 1:40 and had plenty of lemonade, iced tea
and cookies left so we invited friends and neighbors in our
condo building to stop by from 4-6 for the Benji and Evan
Lemonade Stand Part 2!

New venue, same yummy treats!

Evan and Benji....Service with a smile!

Evan is STILL doing "quality control" on our products

Benji preferred the Green Tea with Honey and Ginger

It's all about the presentation!

A little lemonade stand turned into two events today and a very
impressive "FUN" raising total of $500.00.

Thanks to Benji for the idea and to Evan, Miles, Fletcher and
Sara for helping to make it happen today!

A big thanks to all of the wonderful people who were so
sweet, patient and generous while visiting our Lemonade
Stands....some even just made a donation without taking
a drink or a cookie.   They just wanted to help support the cause!

It's not too late to donate!
We are slowly edging toward our goal of $10,000 for this
last segment of the ride.   I'll check on our total next week and
do one more post to let you know how we are doing.
As always, thanks for your support and encouragement!
